cooperation

In the PreSchool classroom, life is all about learning how to work with others and this is certainly an especially challenging proposal for young children. To encourage teamwork, communication, collaboration, and cooperation we have been engaged in fun and inviting activities. We have read many books on teamwork and cooperation. In addition, a few activities we have been promoting are; building with blocks, working on floor puzzles, art activities and other fun games, both inside and outside of the classroom. Cooperative games help foster and encourage collaborative skills and teach sportsmanship as children play by helping each other. These games emphasis on fun and teamwork rather than resulting in a win. This group is amazing at “Talking it out!” They are learning that using nice words and asking or making a plan with a friend usually results in a very positive conversation and a rewarding feeling. Great work PreSchool!
